ABOUT THE RUM BARREL

 

Launched in 2006 by former Philadelphia 76ers President Pat Croce, the Rum Barrel evokes the aura of a 17th-century pirate hangout with more than 150 rums and an extensive selection of specialty and craft beers. As the southernmost Philly sports bar, Rum Barrel is the local hotspot for all things Philly–including its famous cheese steaks.

 

Open daily for lunch and dinner, the Rum Barrel’s scenic upper deck overlooks Key West’s Old Town with daily specials and nightly entertainment, and offers an outstanding dining experience with fresh local seafood and creative entrees. The Rum Barrel’s kitchen is captained by Chef Patrick Dunn, protégé of gifted Iron Chef Jose Garces. Dunn is an alum of Garces’ Latin-Asian Chifa Restaurant in Philadelphia.

 

In true Key West style, the Rum Barrel’s happy hour runs from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. every day and offers 2-for-1 domestic drafts and bottles and premium wells drinks with a full $5 happy hour menu.
